Crappie fishing – Good, using minnows and jigs. The fish are biting good. We are catching crappie in 2-3 feet of water in the bush brush.

Rend Lake
The water level is 408.02 Water temp 53.1
Crappie fishing– Good, using jigs. The fish are in there winter pattern and biting good. We are catching crappie in 8-14 feet of water on brush, stumps, and stake beds.
Lake of Egypt
Crappie, Fish that I have been catching are in 2-6 foot of water on weed edges casting a jig and bobber or minnow and slip bobber early in the morning or in deep water 15-20 foot deep on brush when the sun gets higher.
Kinkaid
Crappie, Been catching fish in 9-15 foot of water on brush, timber, and laydown

Rend Lake
The water level is 410.32 Water temp 62.2
Crappie fishing– Good, using minnows and jigs. The fish are spawning and biting good. We are catching crappie in 1 to 4 feet of water in the buckbrush.
Lake of Egypt
Crappie are being caught in 1-6 foot of water in the weeds casting a jig and bobber or minnow and slip bobber or in deep water 10-20 foot deep on brush
Kinkaid
Been catching fish in 6 inches to 3 foot of water in the weeds and laydowns.
