Owner/Guide Nick Shafer
Owner/Guide Nick Shafer is a former U.S. Marine. However, for close to 20 years he has turned his attention to serving clients as a full-time fishing and hunting guide.
Nick is fishing out of a 22′ Skeeter ZX250 powered by a Yamaha SHO HPDI 250 with the latest Humminbird electronic on the console and bow. He also fishes out of a 23’ Blue ridge plate boat, also equipped with Humminbird electronics.
Competitively and recreationally, Crappie fishing for over 30 years, winning multiple bass and crappie tournaments including the Crappie Masters Illinois State Championship. Nick is able to serve you at various lakes located in Southern Illinois which includes Rend Lake, Lake of Egypt, and Kinkaid Lake.
